It’s better to have a few warm jumpers instead of having many winter outfits that just look chunky and don’t keep you warm. I’ve learnt this the hard way, trust me on this!

When I first came here, I ended up buying a lot of my winter wear from high-street brands, which is not a bad thing but if you check closely most of are not even 50% wool. I never bothered to check the label and see the material composition, because of which I was constantly cold. It’s only recently that I started saving up for nicer jumpers to see if it actually made any difference because of the materials and I’m so glad I did. It made a world of difference!

So here are some of my favourite brands for jumpers. Most of these are 100% merino wool or cashmere, hence the price tag. But they are so much warmer that it makes them totally worth it!

And then there are sweatshirts that are perfect when it’s just starting to get cold, ideal for travelling in and comparatively budget- friendly. Wildfox is my go-to for fun slogan sweatshirts.
