Maldives

This April we completed 5 years together! Woop Woop!

This year we decided to ditch a quick getaway on our anniversary for a nice warm holiday a month earlier, while we were already in Mumbai instead. So we technically celebrated our anniversary one month early but it was totally worth it.

Maldives was AMAZING! We were already making plans to come back again while we were there. Deciding a resort was quite a task since there are so many good options available. All resort websites genuinely seemed very good. After many hours of checking reviews of travellers we narrowed it down to Taj Exotica. Mainly because some of the reviews about the food looked a bit hit and miss for some of the resorts and we did not want to be stranded on an island with mediocre food. I know there are many more beautiful properties in Maldives but we’re glad we chose Taj as their team went out of their way to make our stay comfortable at every given point.

Going for an over-water bungalow is a must! The view is just breathtaking. Waking up to the stunning view just makes you never want to go home. They even had a hammock and a swing in the middle of the ocean! I felt like an excited child throughout our holiday. Cannot wait to go back.
